About the Spirit Pavilion

The Spirit PavilionThe Spirit of Freedom Tour traveling exposition center is housed in a custom designed state-of the-art modular portable structure designed and produced by the world’s leading temporary structure manufacturer. The technology applied to engineering and design of this structure takes into consideration significant transportation, installation, climate control, safety, crowd logistics, and aesthetic requirements of the tour.

The Spirit Pavilion’s unique four hall rotunda design is required to accommodate 15,000 school children per day in groups of 750 students. The magnificent marbleized rotunda in the center of this four hall complex has been specifically fabricated to accommodate America’s only National Monument to the U.S. Constitution and the only original bronze replicas of the four pages of the Constitution. Massive automated bronzed doors control access into the three halls housing two theaters and the archival Hall of History.

The structure’s shell is designed with 20’ sections of a unique 24 oz. laminated vinyl blackout material that slides through channels in the aluminum beam profiles allowing for fast and efficient installation and a moisture free, air tight interior environment. The blackout feature of the roof prohibits unwanted sunlight from the interior enabling excellent climate and lighting control capability. Heating and air conditioning ducts are installed throughout the pavilion providing a comfortable climate controlled environment regardless of the geographic region of a tour stop.

Carpeted portable flooring allows for installation of the Spirit Pavilion on almost any existing surface. Integrated electrical connections are placed into the structure’s profile providing power distribution throughout the pavilion to accommodate the high tech interactive displays, video animatrons, sound and video equipment, as well as display and general lighting.

A visit to this 40,000 sq. ft. portable marvel is an experience in itself, not to mention the exciting educational components including displays, interactive challenges, an inspiring movie, live stage performances, and archival items.
